The Bay to Boulders Ocean Swim event offers a number of swims for different ages and abilities – including a 250m and 700m course as well as a tougher 2.6km course at Trial Bay.
With a number of swims on offer for different ages and abilities, the whole family can get involved.
For the 250m ‘Boulders Dash’ swim, competitors must be at least 10 years of age. The swim is around the gorgeous and fairly calm Trial Bay.
The 700m course starts at Horseshoe Bay and runs around the headland and on into the wedge. This allows spectators to watch the race from start to finish, following the headland.
For those more experienced ocean swimmers, there is also the 2.6km ‘ Bay to Boulders’ event, which also starts at Horseshoe Beach. The course makes its way around the headland and along Main Beach, finishing near the rocks. Swimmers must be 13 years of age or over to take part.
The event begins at South West Rocks Surf Club on Sunday April 29, 2018 from 7.30am.
