Goolawah National Park


Goolawah National Park and Goolawah Regional Park were officially gazetted on Friday 21st of May 2010.

There are two beach side campgrounds within Goolawah, Racecourse Campground eight kilometres south of Crescent Head is in Goolawah National Park and has a shelter shed, cold water beach showers and sealed vault non-flushing toilet. Several kilometres down the Plomer Road in Goolawah Regional Park is Delicate Campground. It has a shelter shed, flushing toilets and cold water showers. Fire wood is currently supplied at both sites. Campers should bring their own drinking water.  Pet dogs can be brought to Delicate Campground only which is located about eleven kilometres south of Crescent Head.

Camping fees apply and vary between School Holiday Season and Non-School Holiday Season. Fees are payable to the contracted Campground Manger who is at the park daily.

Things to do: Beach activities such as swimming, surfing, snorkelling, bird watching and walks.

Directions: Between 8 to 11 kilometres south of Crescent Head depending on which campground being visited.
