The Seabreeze Beach Hotel, located on the New South Wales’ mid-north coastal playground of South West Rocks, will host their first ever craft beer event on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March, 2016.
The inaugural Crafts on the Coast event will celebrate local and regional boutique breweries including Bucket Brewery (Kempsey), Black Duck Brewery (Port Macquarie), Little Brewing Co. (Port Macquarie), Murray’s Brewery (Port Stephens), and Six String Brewing (Central Coast), as well as a visit from our South Australian friends at Hills Cider.
Entry is free, with tasting tickets available to buy across the weekend, offering visitors the chance to meet the brewers and taste their way through a selection of great craft beers and ciders. The hotel will be further highlighting the beers by accompanying them with a range of delicious beer food from their limited edition menu, sourced locally from Macleay Valley producers.
While soaking up an afternoon of great craft beers and fine food, patrons will enjoy an opportunity to chill out with live entertainment by Josh Needs on Saturday and Craig Stewart on Sunday, both from 2pm.
For those wanting to take their beer and food exploration one step further, Saturday night’s “Brewers Dinner” is a must, with each of the brewers on hand to discuss all things brewing while enjoying degustation cuisine sourced from our local producers. Tickets to the Brewers Dinner are $85 and can be booked at the Seabreeze Beach Hotel.
The Seabreeze Beach Hotel is offering a range of accommodation packages for the event (see below) so it’s a great opportunity to soak up the sun, enjoy the cold beer and make a weekend of it. South West Rocks is a hidden gem on the mid north coast, located just under an hour’s drive from Port Macquarie airport or a five hour drive from Sydney or the Gold Coast.
General Manager of The Seabreeze Beach Hotel, Troy de Luca says, “There is definitely a growing market for quality artisanal produce in the area. We were increasingly interested in the number of great craft brewers along the north coast and thought it was about time we got them all in one place to showcase their wares. It is also a chance to celebrate some of the fantastic local food that we have access to in the Macleay Valley and Mid-north Coast. What better spot than the Seabreeze Beach Hotel in South West Rocks to bring this all together!”
The Seabreeze Beach Hotel, located in the heart of South West Rocks, is one of the best venues on the mid-north coast of New South Wales. The picturesque coastal town is well known for its relaxed atmosphere and pristine beaches, along with its diving, fishing and camping.
