Farm Feast comes to the Macleay Valley Coast

Farm Feast is designed to grow into an annual event to celebrate the fantastic local produce and food we have in region. This year’s inaugural event will run for two days from the 11 February – 12 February 2020

Celebrity Lyndey Milan will be a special guest at Farm Feast Macleay Valley Coast this year and will share her experience as Chef, entrepreneur, TV personality and travel expert over two days.

Lyndey is a familiar face on television and in print, she been instrumental in changing the way Australians think and feel about food and wine for over thirty years via her own nine best-selling cookbooks, eight TV series and influence as former Food Director of the iconic Australian Women’s Weekly.

She is an award-winning multi-media presenter, MC, speaker, food & wine teacher, consultant, debater, judge and regional Australian specialist who makes numerous TV & culinary appearances. She has a profile beyond Australia including: UK’s Saturday Kitchen; NBC Today Show during the Sydney Olympics; with Anthony Bourdain when he was filming in Australia; in Rick Stein’s Seafood Odyssey.

During her eight years as co-host of Fresh with The Australian Women’s Weekly on the Nine Network Australia, she regularly hosted such visiting chefs as Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein and Gordon Ramsay.

Dinner feast with Lyndey Milan at The Garden Bar & Kitchen, Frederickton. Learn about the fascinating evolution of food in Australia as well as hearing some fascinating insights into Lyndey’s career as TV Chef extraordinaire and entrepreneur over dinner.

Time: 5:30pm-8:30pm.
Venue: The Garden Bar & Kitchen, Macleay Valley Way, The Old Cheese Factory, Frederickton.
Cost: $60 per person.

Celebrate the fresh local produce and products our beautiful region produces on this full day experience.

10:am-12 noon. Commencing at Gladstone Hall, Lyndey will share her insights into how to develop your agri-tourism venture or product.

12 noon -1:30pm. Take a short stroll to Gladstone Park which will be setup for you to enjoy a long table Macleay Valley Food Bowl lunch prepared by Steam & Cedar. With sweeping views of the Macleay River and agricultural lifeblood of our region it’s certainly a fantastic setting for lunch.

1:30-4:30pm. Join a self drive tour of two Macleay Valley Food Bowl producers who will open their premises for special guided tours.

Time: 10am-4:30pm
