The Macleay Valley Youth Advisory Council invites young people and their families to come along to Vocalise – a Youth Week Event at Kempsey Riverside Park on Saturday, 5 April 2014.
Vocalise will start alongside the Riverside Markets at 9am with the official launch celebrating Youth Week at 3pm. Music will be performed throughout the day concluding at 6.30pm.
The packed program includes local young musicians including Lucy Barber, McKinley Pain, Liam Moylan, Klezmer, and Josh Needs, along with Sages Muse to keep the energy flowing.
The theme for Youth week this year is “Our Voice. Our Impact” and Kempsey Shire Council along with our Youth Advisory Council hopes to create a positive lasting impact at this event and inspire young people to become involved and let their voices be heard.
This event is a part of National Youth Week (NYW) which runs from 4 to 13 April. It seeks to involve, engage and empower youth across Australia. So come down and get involved in a great day out.
Free transport will be available from South West Rocks, Crescent Head, Bellbrook, Stuarts Point and within Kempsey.
