NATURE TRAILS OF THE MACLEAY

There’s more to the Macleay Valley Coast than breathtaking beaches and world-class waves.

Nature Trails

There’s more to the Macleay Valley Coast than breathtaking beaches and world-class waves. From hiking and observing the feathered natives of the Australian bush, to zooming through eucalypts on your mountain bike or driving off the beaten path down one of the coastal backtracks, there are a variety of fun ways to connect with nature.

Each trail and landmark has a rich indigenous history which can be seen and felt as you explore it through the eyes and words of its original indigenous inhabitants, the Dunghutti & Thunggutti people.

Take it all in by exploring the Nature Trails of the Macleay.
