If you are looking to source some local produce visit Horseshoe Bay Markets, Fisherman’s Co-op, local butchers and speciality shops. BBQ’s are available at Captain Cooks Lookout at Smoky Cape, Little Bay, Laggers Point and Horseshoe Bay Reserve. There are also a number of grassy headlands and parks to spread the picnic rug out. Set up the fold out chairs on the Macleay River or beaches to catch some fresh fish, fishing licences are required.
