1965 Freedom Ride Blue Plaque Trail – Kempsey

Each plaque reveals a unique piece of history, encouraging visitors to explore local areas from a new perspective and uncover stories they may never have known.

This blue plaque commemorates the 1965 Freedom Ride where a group of university students journey on a bus through country New South Wales to expose and challenge discrimination faced by Aboriginal people.
